S.K.V. A la Kart is de enige studentenkartvereniging van Nederland. Onze thuisbasis is Kartbaan Oldenzaal, welke ongeveer 15 km van de Campus van Universiteit Twente ligt. Hier beschikken we over ons “karthok”, waar we onze eigen drie Honda 390 cc racekarts hebben staan. Naast karten op Oldenzaal proberen we ook minimaal 1 keer per jaar een andere kartbaan te bezoeken tijdens ons “kartweekend” of onze “kartdagen”. Verder organiseren we activiteiten zoals racesimulatie-avonden, het samen kijken van Formule 1 wedstrijden, bezoeken we races zoals de 24 u van de Nürburgring of Clio cup races en houden we borrels en barbecues. In de winterperiode organiseren we de “Wintercup”, waarbij we in 4 huurkartraces bepalen wie de snelste karter van de vereniging is. Dit evenement is altijd goed bezocht en een perfecte kans om bij te kletsen met je mede- A la Karters.
De contributie bedraagt €105 per jaar. Hiernaast hoef je voor kartsessie alleen je brandstof te betalen, wat ongeveer €3 a €4 per middag bedraagt. We mogen gebruik maken van de kartbaan tijdens de openingstijden voor privékarts in de zomerperiode, en in de winterperiode tijdens zowel sessies voor privé- en huurkarts. Terwijl andere mensen alleen met mooi weer gaan karten, zijn wij in alle weersomstandigheden wel op de baan te vinden.
Geïnteresseerd? We bieden introductiesessies aan voor €15. Hierbij kun je een middagje met ons mee naar de baan. Mocht je daarna besluiten lid te worden, wordt deze €15 kwijtgescholden. Je kunt je voor deze introductie aanmelden via het kopje “lidmaatschap” en daarna “aanmelden introductie”. Hier kun je je naam, emailadres, voorkeursdagen en opmerkingen doorgeven. Wij nemen daarna contact met je op om een introductie in te plannen. Mocht je vragen hebben, kun je deze stellen door te mailen naar pr@alakart.nl

S.K.V. A la Kart is the only Student Go-Kart Association of the Netherlands. Our homebase is Karttrack Oldenzaal, which is located approximately 15 km from the Campus of the University of Twente. At Oldenzaal we are the owners of a small shed where we store our three Honda 390cc racekarts. Next to karting at Oldenzaal, we also try to visit other karttracks at least once a year in so-called “Kartweekends” or “Kartdays”. Furthermore we organize activities like race-simulation evenings, watching formula 1 races together, visiting races like the 24-hours of the Nürburgring or Clio cup races, and having drinks at barbecues. Our highlight every year is the “Wintercup”, a series of four rental kart races between the members of A la Kart during the months of winter, which is always a great and fun activity and a perfect opportunity to catch up with the fellow A la Karters.
Membership costs €105 per year, for which you only have to pay your own fuel costs during a day karting (mostly €3/€4 for a whole afternoon). We are allowed to use the track during opening hours for owned racekarts and in low-season during the opening hours for both racekarts and rental karts. Where other people only go karting during nice weather, A la Kart is present on the track during all kinds of circumstances.
Interested? We offer introduction sessions, where you’re able to join us for a whole afternoon or morning. These sessions are €15 per person, and these costs will be waived if you decide to become a member immediately afterwards. You can sign up for an introduction by clicking on the header “lidmaatschap” and then “aanmelden introductie”. Here you can leave your name, email, any preferred data and any remarks.
